The JLD will be kick-starting the summer with our Rio Carnival event! We hope you can join us on Thursday 9 August 2012 atThe Riverside Café Bar (Kelham Island Quarter) from 6.30pm. We may not have Brazil’s beaches and sunshine but with capoeira dancers and live music, we’re sure that this will be an event not to miss!

a glass of wine or a soft drink and a burger (vegetarian option available). £1 from each ticket will go to the JLD sponsored charity, the Sheffield Royal Society for the Blind. Come along, enjoy good food and great company and do your bit for charity!

To celebrate the election of the of the first Irish president of the Sheffield and District Junior Law Division (as far as we are aware!) the new JLD committee invite you to celebrate St Patrick’s day the Irish way!

The event is free and there will be a free drink for every guest, along with exclusive drinks offers starting at £2.50 on beer, wine, spirits and of course …Guinness.

There will also be an authentic Irish band playing from 8pm.

Please feel free to pop in for a drink, which may lead to one or two more!

All are welcome so bring along friends and colleagues to celebrate St Patrick’s Day with the JLD.
